Minutes of Town Board Meeting – May 7, 2013
Chairman Dorn called the monthly meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Schley to order on May 7, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Schley Town Hall.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call - In Attendance: Dorn, Petruzates, Plamann, Podeweltz, Prueser
Verification of posting meeting notices.
Everyone was reminded to recycle.
Plamann motioned to accept minutes of previous meeting. Dorn 2nd motion - motion carried.
Dorn motioned to accept Treasurer’s report, pay bills and transfer $12,450 from Money Market to Checking. Prueser 2nd motion –motion carried.
Treasurer has contacted the delinquent personal property owner and informed them that if taxes were not paid by the end of April this matter would be on the agenda for the May meeting. No payments have been made. Treasurer will contact them to make payment arrangements or this matter will go to collections.
$1663 will be transferred to the River Valley Bank account to set aside for the blacktop on French Ridge Rd.
No appearance by Don Gennrich as he requested to be on the agenda.
Granite bids were opened. Laddick’s bid was $11.90 and Meverdan’s bid was $11.78. Motion by Prueser to accept Meverdan’s bid, 2nd by Plamann – motion carried. Clerk to send letters to bidders.
WI Town’s Association meeting is set for 07-18-13 at the Town of Schley Town Hall.
Building Inspection: No report
Planning Commission: by Earl Welker. Recommendation to adopt Land Use applications L-13-032 Jeff Robinson and L-13-018 Jacobs Enterprises LLC. Plamann motions to adopt Land Use applications, Dorn 2nd motion. Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried.
Recommendation to adopt Land Use application L-13-031 Rick Dorn. Prueser motions to adopt, Plamann 2nd motions. Roll call vote – Prueser, Plamann ayes. Dorn obstains. Motion carried.
Compliance report distributed and reviewed. End of PC report.
Next monthly Town Board meeting, Tuesday, June 4, 2013 @ 6 p.m. There being no further business, motion by Dorn, 2nd by Plamann to adjourn – motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
